Nick Gray (Indy)
Nick has lived in Indianapolis his whole life and grew up loving animals and having dogs in the home. A huge influence comes from Steve Irwin and his enthusiasm for wildlife expertise and love for all animals. Nick has worked at various kennels around Indianapolis the last 8 years gaining experience in and specializing in large-breed daycare groups. He managed the daycare department at the Range Pet Lodge in Carmel in 2016 as well as shadowed certified dog trainers in the facility & at In-Home visits. With his knowledge in basic training, body language, and consistency, Nick brings a sense of stability and dog enrichment to our team.
Daisy Nichols (Indy)
Daisy is a certified dog trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She has had a love for animals since she was young and originally wanted to pursue the veterinary side of animal care until she began fostering for a local shelter and fell in love with training and behavior.
While attending Purdue University, Daisy interned at a local animal shelter and worked for a pet sitting, dog walking and training facility where she got hands on experience learning about dog body language and training. She finished her master's degree in educational psychology where she focused on the application in canine behavior.
She moved to Indy and began working as a puppy trainer and worked with various breeds and parents in teaching and preparing owners for their pups. Daisy took over as the head trainer and expanded the program to include adolescent dogs as well. She is looking forward to honing her skills by doing more private lessons and board and trains.
Daisy is currently working toward her Fear-Free certification and is interested in becoming a trick dog and canine fitness instructor. She also has a passion for nosework.
When she's not training, Daisy volunteers at the Indianapolis Zoo in the animal care department. Daisy also volunteers with local rescue groups and fosters dogs in need. She enjoys crafting, hiking, plant care, cooking fantastic food, and hanging out with friends.
Daisy shares her life with her pit mix, Tux, her first foster fail, and her fiance. Daisy and her fiance are hopeful that once home renovations are on their way, they will be able to have more animals to share their life with.
Kaelyn (Indy)
“Hi there! My name is Kaelyn and I live in Indianapolis. I work full time in the public safety grant world and also volunteer with Animal Care Services here in Indy. I enjoy taking care of other peoples’ pets because it’s so interesting to see other dogs/cats and their personalities. I also just love animals of all kinds! I have 2 cats of my own and I love to read, travel, watch competitive reality shows, and try new foods! fun fact about me: I have been dogsledding in Alaska!”
Becky Fellows (Indy)
“After using Dogs N Digs for care of my own pet crew I knew I wanted to be part of a team that allows Pet parents to vacation and have no cares for their fur kidzz while away! As a kid I was raised around many different farm animals & as an adult foster so many different breeds of dogs but specifically Great Danes in the latter 10 years. I’ve worked for Community Health Network as a billing specialist for 20 years & now work remotely which allows me to take my work to the homes & hang with your pets. I work 12 hours a week for a small business owner in Cumberland to serve our local community neighbors! My passion is to serve others, other capacities I do this in are a food pantry and celebrate recovery program I run as well as partner with many in their health journey as a health coach! I’m married, have two amazing adult kids with amazing spouses & two fur kids, 11 year old Dane/lab mix Jett & 9 month old Great Dane Luna!”
