How We Dig Into our community
Dogs N Digs is proud to share an initiative Indy’s Nick Gray took upon himself to start in the summer of 2023.
Below is taken directly from the Dogs N Digs 2020 Business Plan:
“We are always striving to earn our client’s trust when we exhibit attitudes and actions that make sure we go above and beyond for our dogs, when we respect and value our role in the dogs’ lives, and when we communicate openly and honestly with our clients. We want to be known by our customers and the community as a trust worthy, friendly, and convenient place (boarding) to bring their dog. We want to make sure that clients know their dogs’ needs are top priority and advocacy is key at our facility.
We want to be known by the Indianapolis (NC as well) community as a locally owned kennel striving to connect dogs and connect people.”

As we all know, there is a nationwide issue with overcrowding in humane societies and shelters. Everyday hundreds of healthy dogs are euthanized simply to make space. Nick searches web pages for dogs that are on the red list at their shelter, or dogs that have been at the shelter for a long amount of time. Once he finds a dog or makes a monetary pledge, it hopefully will persuade a reputable rescue to pull the dog and assist in finding them a forever home! So
far Nick has saved over 10 dogs that have been placed into rescues and forver homes!
Dogs N Digs is extremely excited to announce that we are inspired by Nick and want to join in his mission and will be sponsoring at least one dog per month to be rescued!
